How to do Vat and Excise in Tally.erp 9
In response to my post http://www.tallynine.com/2009/04/problems-in-vat-and-excise-in-tally-9.html Tally solutions send me the screen shot on how to deal with excise and vat esp. in case of an element of packing charges, freight etc. The only new thing in this entire document is that you can alter details of assessable value by Pressing ALT +F1 when you show the statutory details. I will check if it is working fine or not. meanwhile the document will help users in learning how to open ledger accounts for vat,excise duty, sales and purchase. However latter on I will explain a detailed idea about selection of duty, creating item ledger account and duty applicable to item.
