Bank of India Cheque Printing in Tally

The most common help request I receive is for Cheque printing in Tally.

I love cheque printing in Tally because it help in avoiding manual cheque preparation which result in Duplication of work and are subject to error.

No matter you have to prepare 1 cheque in a week or 100 cheque in a day, Cheque Printing in Tally always be very useful for you.

Here is a detailed guidance on cheque printing in Tally. The dimension given this article are for Bank of India. but again dimension for ICICI Bank, Axis bank, SBI, Syndicate bank and Standard chartered bank are also available for a quick tool.

First of all, create a bank ledger under bank group.

I have created a chart of accounts for ledgers in Tally which is only for premium members and clients of I Vision Infotech. Entry to this forum is restricted only

once you create a bank ledger go To F11 you will find the below screen.

now, you will see a small pop up window

if your company name is printed on the cheque than leave blank the first field and don’t type your name here else fill up your company name here

than press enter

now the next filed will show you a pop up list of all bank ledgers which you have created under Bank account groups.

Select the ledger bank of India if you want to set up bank of india cheque printing.

now it will show you a pop up window where u need to fill up dimensions

go through the screen shot and fill up the dimensions.

accept it.

you will return to the orginal menu. accept it again

If you wanted to print cheque for another bank say icici bank than simply type name of another bank (the ledger must be created) and go again the same process as explained above. else accept the form.

you will return to the original menu. accept it again

now pass a payment entry through payment voucher and take  a trial of your cheque printing in sample paper cutting it to your actual cheque leaf.

If cheque is not printing correctly than modify the dimension and try again.

After all its a trial and error technic.
